Here’s my first of hopefully many posts here on this blog. Lets start out with a bang. First off is my recording of the pillows concert that happened on Wednesday night.

This concert totally kicked ass even though it was crowded as hell since it was an all ages show. But the thing that sealed the deal was when they busted out with Crazy Sunshine for thier encore. Here’s a little conversation that happened between me and o_8:
o_8: This concert would be perfect if they came back out and played Crazy Sunshine since they played my other favorite songs from FLCL.
Me: Yeah, that would be hella cool since Crazy Sunshine is my favorite song from that anime.
::They come back on stage and strum a few chords that sound familiar::
Yamanaka: OK, CRAZY SUNSHINE!
Me & o_8: YEAH!!!!
Clearly, the pillows was the high point of that night. Though Lemon Drop Kick sounded cool even though I was waiting to get into the club while they were playing. I walked in while Nikita, Blue Eyes, and Oriental Massage were playing and they rocked out pretty freakin hard. Props for thier cover of Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s Rewrite. SecretSecret wasn’t as good, goth synth rock isn’t the kind of music I can rock out to. Maybe if I had trouble sleeping I’d listen to them since I felt like I was gonna fall asleep during their performance. I never thought I’d use the word sleep while talking about a live house performance.
